Reporting concerns

All children and young people have the right to live in safety, without emotional cruelty, neglect, violence or sexual abuse.

If you are worried about a child, please tell us your concerns so that we can help.

Call Derbyshire (Starting Point)

You can contact Call Derbyshire (Starting Point) on tel: 01629 533190. They are open between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9.30am and 4pm on Saturdays.

If you are a professional, after contacting Starting Point please complete the child referral form.

There is also a new advice and consultation line for professionals working with children. Tel: 01629 535353 Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm to speak to an experienced social worker.
